I’ll be off the air for the next 4 weeks, as my wife and I take our first holiday since moving to the Costa Blanca 4 years ago. We are driving up through N. Spain, spending a few days in the famous wine region of La Rioja, before boarding a ferry from Bilbao to Portsmouth.
On our arrival in the UK, we’ll be spending 10 days visiting friends and family in Hampshire, including Basingstoke, and finally returning to Spain via France, where we will be stopping off to visit more friends, including ex-neighbours from the village of Kingsley near Alton, where we lived for many years before our retirement.
